Meet Lisa

Hi, I’m Lisa Steiner — the hands and heart behind LMC Amazing Yarn.

My love for yarn and fabric began when I was just ten years old, sitting beside my Grandma as she taught me to knit. From there, I dove deeper, learning crochet at school, picking up sewing from my mom, and teaching myself how to make clothing. In 2004, a close family friend introduced me to quilting, and I fell in love with yet another way yarn and fabric could become something meaningful.

For me, crafting is more than a hobby — it’s a way of life. Every bag, sandal, slipper, or quilt you see here is made with joy, patience, and a lot of love.

Through LMC Amazing Yarn, I’m excited not only to share my handmade creations with you but also to pass along what I’ve learned.
